Hey!

As a lot of you know, yesterday I was accepted into a college I’ve been working on getting into for a couple months now. I’m really excited to be moving out of my grandmother’s house and getting to live in a dorm and working hard to get a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and an Associate’s Degree in their Baking and Pastry program.

I just have one problem: It is in New York City and New York City is expensive. I’m currently looking for a job to make a bit of money over the summer to pay for my plane ticket to school and I am sure that I will have to make a few arrangement with grants and loans and what not.

I’d like to make this clear now: I am not asking for money! Instead, I am asking if anyone knows of any good scholarships programs. I’ve been searching myself on websites like fastweb and the sort but I don’t find that very helpful a lot of the time. If it helps, I’m African American and would qualify for those types of scholarships too. Anyway, if anyone could reblog this to spread the word I’d be very thankful and stuff and probably draw you a picture if you asked me to or something. Thanks! :3
